a simple revolution

sometimes change can begin with something as simple as a t-shirt.

our revolution is about simplifying life, eliminating unnecessary clutter and chaos that conflicts with humanity. we are bombarded with perpetual bad news and told that it is all part of modern society and progress. simply put, we beg to differ.

we aren’t going to lie to you, we sell a product. the staple of everyday life t-shirt. ours on the good side make no compromises as to quality, or their impact on the planet.

simple cedar is about trying to manage the day to day choices and make them easier. rather than standing in front of your closet with the pain of getting ready for a night out, or just going to work, we like the idea of having a small wardrobe of simple, functional, and beautiful items, and hey, you can’t get much more comfortable than a great t-shirt.

will a t-shirt change the world. yes and no. in the immediate future a t-shirt will not fix the woes of the world. that said, our hope is that the ideas behind our shirts, and the reasons we founded simple cedar will carry through to our customers and start little ripples of change one person at a time, or at least that’s the premise we are going on.

simple cedar was founded by optomists. those who would rather hear about the wonderful things taking place in the world, and contrary to many popular news sources there is plenty of it. take energy for example…the world is not ending if we don’t make an immediate switch to renewable energy sources, but at the same time we at simple cedar would much rather leave a nice clean usable planet for our children. recent research has doubled the efficiency of solar panels, and seeing windmills along certain ridgelines makes us smile a smile of alternatives and change.
